Message The absolute physics behind it may speak differently, but I've had different results on the track with Copper Liquid Gasket.

My concerns of the low thermal temperature of silicone was the main driving force behind me using a higher temp product.

What temperatures do the back of the pads see anyway? Is it enough to meet or exceed the capable temperatures of Permatex Copper Liquid Gasket? It has been designed with high temperature applications in mind, and IIRC, has almost twice the thermal capabilities of regular silicone.
